The property features a large garden with verandas on three levels. It offers a high level of privacy and tranquility for all its guests. Position: 40 meters from the beach.
Big konoba – 4 Guest Accomodation
The house for the landlord and wine renovated in the authentic island architecture offers comfortable accommodation for 4 persons in all seasons of the year.
Small konoba – 2 Guest Accomodation
Once a stable for donkeys, today a nice small stone house renovated in the authentic island architecture that offers comfortable accommodation for 2 persons.
Climate
Mediterranean
The climate is Mediterranean and the air is pure and aromatic. The weather from May to September is predominantly warm and sunny with little rain. The mild climate and relative humidity as compared to the temperature are especially beneficial for asthma sufferers.
Preserved vegetation
The naturally preserved vegetation is rich with various aromatic and medicinal herbs, especially fennel, feverwort, sage, myrtle, lavender, rosemary and heather.

Island History
History
The name Unije derives from the Greek word “heneios” meaning field. A Croatian equivalent of the name would therefore be “Upolje” meaning in the field.
The first information about Unije was delivered by the Venetian Jesuit Alberto Fortis in his famous work Journey through Dalmatia from 1774. Unije has few inhabitants who live a modest lifestyle. The main products are wood, honey and wax.
The sea around the island is rich with fish, mostly tuna, mackerel, pilchard and also squid.
How to get to the island
Island Unije can be reached by sea or by air.
Alongside the seaport there is a small airport for those wishing to come and go quickly.
